Participants are required to take two month Chinese language training first and then everyone will be assigned a one month English teaching Internship. The best interns will be recommended to have a teaching position either at a college or at a training center around China.

Core Courses:

Course I Chinese Traditional Elements in Interior Design

Chinese traditional style in interior design; Chinese traditional colors; Chinese calligraphy
Chinese traditional furniture; Chinese ink painting; Chinese fengshui theory

Course II Chinese Traditional Architecture

The history of Chinese traditional architecture; the halls and chambers of gardens in China
The temple arts in China; the courtyards in Beijing; the Shikumen-gate houses in Shanghai
